Very many of the medical schools in philippines are recognized all over the world.
As a foreign medical graduate that intends to practice in the United States, you must be licensed in the state you intend to practice in.
This can be a very cumbersome process. It gets worse if you graduated from a non accredited or non recognized medical school. Some states in the USA are stricter than others in their licencing process.
California being the strictest. Other very strict states include New York and Florida. If you are licensed in California, then you are rest assured of obtaining licence in virtually all 50states.
Here is a list of the medical schools in Philippines accredited by California medical board, the strictest board when it comes to medical schools accreditation in the United States.

Note that being a recognised school does not translate into licensure. There are many more processes to be completed to obtain a licence, it’s just a step out of many to be taken.

Yes Victor there are lots of Indians, Nepalese, Africans and Eskimos here studying. A few Americans and Canadians, many Koreans etc.
As an addendum, this blogger is an African here too. She gives out first hand information cos she’s on ground here. So nothing to fear.

Hey Sandra, do some research you could find some agents or agencies around you. If you have someone studying there , that could also help. As students there can basically get admission without hassles provided you are qualified.
